Name:
Vengeance
Age:
20 moons
Rank:
Rogue
Gender:
Male
Clan:
None
Personality:
Vengeance is a very temperamental cat. He is very touchy, and can be very pushy at times. He is usually very agressive, and often takes his anger out on others, using both tongue and claws. He is very venemous and unforgiving, and can keep you up all bight, thinking about what he said. Vengeance doesn't usually forget anything, and is able to immediately identify a cat who's done him wrong, even if it was many seasons ago.
Vengeance doesn't really take the time to become close with anyone. He fears that if he develops a soft spot for anyone they will betray him, and leave him lonely, damaged and helpless once more. That is why he puts on such a hard shell, but over the moons that shell has begun to seep into him, corrupting his very core.
Due to his past, he detests the clans. He blames them for everything that's happened to him, and he believes they must be either controlled or destroyed. If he could only controll the clans, then perhaps he could find a way to change their rules, and re-create the world of the clans, and turn it into his own. He knows he could never do it alone, and so he seeks to join the Elite, whom he knows have great ambitions, and who also seek to rule the forest.
Description:
Orbs of swirling colors, blue, indigo and violet, glow like the moon, piercing you, grabbing your attention. They hypnotize you, mesmerize you. These eyes have seen so much violence, are filled with so much pain and rage, and yet they seem so innocent, somehow soothing. It's almost as if these are the eyes of a kit...
Black velvet upon a thin, lithe form, soft to the touch, but bristling with tension. Delicate black lips rest undisturbed upong his muzzle, pulling back into a snarl to reveal sparkling pearly whites, sharp and swift, with matching claws stained with the blood of his tormentors. All of this makes a deadly predator, blending into the night, nearly undetectable, until he strikes.
History:
Vengeance's story is a tale of tradgedy. He was born as a kittypet, given the name Cobalt, for his unique cobalt-blue eyes. He had a sister named Sepia, a beautiful young she-cat with a shiny brown peltand beautiful amber eyes, and a brother named Storm, a large gray tom with cloudy green-blue orbs. Sepia was always worried about Cobalt, who liked to run off into the forest and talk to cats he didn't know, cats who led strange lives. Storm was only slightly interested in hearing Cobalts stories, and he never really cared for his brother or his silly adventures. He was too busy running off with his oher friends to be concerned about any of it.
Cobalt had a few friends in the forest, but his best friend was a young Windclan warrior. This tom was always willing to teach the little kittypet something new, and always had words of encouragement. One day, as Cobalt was on his way to visit his Windclan friend, he was attacked by a patrol. Their pelts smelled of Windclan, and Cobalt expected them to go easy on him once the other young warrior arrived, but to his dismay, the Windclan cat only watched as his clanmates beat poor Cobalt.
The little black tom finally escaped, and found that the confrontation with Windlcan was only the beggining. He ran straight into a Riverclan patrol, who drove him across the stepping stones into Thunderclna territory. From there he was chased up to the Thunderpath, nearly getting hit by a passing truck. Upon arriving on the other side, he was suddenly ambushed by a group of Shadowclan cats. They told him kittypets shold stay in their nests, and took turns scoring their claws across his flanks as he ran from them, too. Finally, he arrived home, only to run into more trouble. His brother waited for him with a few other kittypets, all looking stricken, and at the same time very hostile. Strom was angry and hurt, and he told Cobalt that Sepia had gone looking for him, and was taken by forest cats. Unwilling to face the angry 'mob', Cobalt continued to run, until he found himself cold and alone in the streets of the city.
Cobalt was afraid of the mangy, hungry, scary-looking cats that haunted the alleys, and he stayed away from all cats, until Trixie came along. She was a beautiful calico, and her green eyes invited him in. She was very kind, and there were no laws that bound her to anyone. It was just her in her own little world, and she invited Cobalt to join it. Together, they survived in the streets, scavenging for food, and Trixie taught him a few moves she learned living in the cruel city. He often told her of the harshness of the forest, and how big groups of them had ambushed him when he was alone. Trixie suggested taking vengeance upon them, and he thought it sounded like a good idea. So, he spent all his time training to be stronger, so he could return home and fight for the respect and peace he wanted.
Trixie and Cobalt travelled back to the country, making plans for the future, and preparing for the worst. Unfortunately, they were ambushed. Storm and a few of his friends recognized Cobalt, and that night they attacked them in their sleep. Trixie had never been attacked by a whole group of cats, and she died at the claws of Storm. The fight ended when a bunch of clan warriors chased the caats away, thinking they were a group of rogues preparing to attack their camp. Storm stayed behind, determined to be rid of his brother, but it was Cobalt who eliminated his brother. He felt the life leave Storms body as the blood was spilled onto the grass. He did it in honor of Trixie, ex-partner in crime, and former love. In her honor, he changeed his name to Vengeance, a reminder of the promises they'd made, and a reminder of what he must do.
